What is Ascend Endurance?

Ascend Endurance was founded by Dan, Sophie, and Lisa. With over 15 years of experience coaching endurance athletes, our mission is to provide a complete coaching solution that helps you excel in endurance sports, and beyond.

What is included in the Complete Endurance Training package?

Our package includes a bespoke training plan, progressive strength training, personalised physiotherapy and injury prevention, individualised nutrition coaching, regular 1-2-1 calls, and continuous support through daily programme adjustments and direct messaging with us.

How is my training plan customised?

Your training plan is created based on your unique needs, goals, and lifestyle. We take into account your sport, fitness level, available time for training, and personal commitments to ensure the plan fits seamlessly into your life.

Do I need to have a specific sport or event in mind to sign up?

No, our coaching is suitable for athletes of all levels, whether you're training for a marathon, ultramarathon, triathlon, or just looking to improve overall endurance. We adapt the training to fit any endurance-based goal.

What if I can’t follow the plan as scheduled?

Life happens! We make daily adjustments to your programme to ensure it fits around your work, family, and other commitments. We will work with you to adapt your training to real-life challenges while still progressing toward your goal.

Will I receive any injury prevention support?

Yes! Injury prevention is a key component of our approach. Our physiotherapy plans focus on preventing injuries before they happen, and we offer targeted rehab programmes to ensure a safe return to training if needed.

How often will I have contact with us?

You’ll have regular 1-2-1 calls with us as your coaches via video or phone to review your progress. Additionally, you’ll receive feedback and have direct messaging access to us for ongoing support.

Do I need any special equipment or apps?

You’ll need some basic fitness tracking tools and access to Training Peaks. We provide a Premium Account subscription as part of the package and this is directly linked to us for in-app messaging and questions.

A Training Peaks app is available to download on both Android an IOS, and desktop versions are supported. An invitation link will be sent to you, with instructions on how to setup your account and link with us as your coach.

For strength training, we may suggest basic equipment depending on your goals, but we ensure it’s all manageable based on your situation.

How do I book my free discovery call?

Simply contact us via our website to schedule your free discovery call. During the call, we’ll discuss your goals, our approach, and how we can support you in achieving your full potential.

Is there a minimum commitment period for the coaching programme?

We recommend a commitment of at least three months to see substantial progress, but our programmes are flexible. We can tailor the length of your coaching based on your goals and time frame.

What if I have dietary restrictions or specific nutrition needs?

Our individualised nutrition coaching takes your unique dietary preferences and restrictions into account. We’ll help you develop effective strategies that support your training, recovery, and race-day fuelling.
